General Description | The purpose for this teaching position is to provide English as a Second Language and career pathways instruction to adult learners at the Northeast Community College Extended Campus in South Sioux City. This position is responsible for pre-and post-assessments, student intake, maintaining and tracking student hours, and adhering to Federal and State Adult Education regulations. 3-5 weekend hours only. |
Qualifications: Education | Bachelor’s degree preferred. |
Qualification:Experience | Adult teaching experience preferred. |
Qualification:Skills | Requires excellent communication skills, knowledge of computers and ability to learn and operate computer based learning programs. Must be dedicated to student success and possess the ability to work with non-traditional and culturally diverse learners. |
