What you'll be doing:

* In this exciting role, you will be the primary manager of SPP's email deployment platform, Marketo, as well as the primary contact between our Adobe consultant and SPP

* Discover new possibilities and implement inspiring functionality, with the help of our Marketo partner, to enrich the campaign communication experience and drive sales

* Long term, you'll continue evolving this important platform and use your marketing expertise to research new, creative and effective enhancements that align with leadership goals and budget

* Lead helpful and informative training for the brand and client services teams as new functionality is made available

* Set, nurture strategy, and build programs to move customers along the buyer journey and accelerate pipeline

* Lead the email marketing program development and execution, including template building, segmentation, testing and deployment; continually evaluate these for improvements

* Ensure the Marketing Automation integration with CRM (SFDC) is function and ready for future state of additional platform integreations

* Evaluate large scale campaign metrics and distribute campaign performance reporting

* Work with management to define KPIs, create reporting, analyze campaign performance, and make recommendations to improve campaigns

* Problem solve potential issues as they arise and efficiently communicate issues and solutions. When needed, our Marketo contact will be available to assist

* Act as the Marketo data analyst who generates reports, analyzes data and discovers insights that drive direction and change to ultimately drive sales and improve campaign performance

* Identify process improvement opportunities and propose how to implement, as well as make recommendations on prioritization based on business and/or user impact

* Work productively with other business units (Account Services, Art Directors, Merchandising) in uploading documents and creating/editing templates

* Contribute toward integration projects, develop comprehensive reporting and dashboards, and manage training for new users as needed

What you bring to the table:

* Strong analytical and reasoning abilities with the ability to develop and adapt business processes after evaluating multiple solutions

* Excellent program, project and time management and execution skills, with the ability to adapt and handle multiple projects with different priority levels and deadlines

* Prior experience developing a digital strategy and vision, including digital journey mapping, drafting use case scenarios and test cases, leading change and collaborating with a variety of business, technology and creative partners

* Strong business acumen with data-mining mindset

* Experience with PowerBI or similar platform

* Ability to analyze business reports and solve problems

* Strong MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)

* Ability to set and achieve challenging goals

* Previous product owner/admin of Marketo, SalesForce, Responsys or similar email service provider

* Demonstrate a high level of business maturity and alertness and the ability to work well with diverse personalities

Qualifications :

What's needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years relevant work experience in marketing or related field or a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Marketo/SFDC certification

What's needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) strongly recommended
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics or similar analytic software
  • Experience with digital marketing, social media marketing desired
