Clinical Nurse (RN) - Sunnybrook Cardiology

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm

Join our dynamic team as a Clinical Nurse in our Sunnybrook Cardiology Clinic. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced RN to provide exceptional care to our patients. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cardiologists, assist in diagnostic procedures, and educate patients on cardiac health.

1. Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and medication reconciliation.
2. Assist cardiologists during examinations and procedures, such as stress tests, echocardiograms, and electrocardiograms.
3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
4. Educate patients and their families on cardiac conditions, medications, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care.
5. Monitor patients' progress and provide ongoing support and guidance.
6. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Valid RN license, State of Iowa.
• Prior experience in cardiology or related field preferred.
• BLS and Mandatory Reporter.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
