Acts in the role of educator for new team member and also in implementing new ideas and best practices in the nursing areas. Demonstrates excellent teaching and collaboration skills with all disciplines in providing expert nursing skills to patients and their families. Has the ability to integrate evidence- based best practices to implement them in the nursing areas. Works across the continuum of care to maintain standards of care and quality improvement within area of clinical expertise.

Education:

Must have completed an accredited nursing program and possess a valid nursing license.

Experience:
| 3 years of clinical specialty and proven teaching expertise |

| * Current valid nursing license * BCLS required upon hire or obtained within 30 days from date of hire | Certification in clinical specialty encouraged |
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
| * Excellent teaching and communication skills * Able to lead multidisciplinary teams * Able to problems solve and direct others * Expertise in research-based problem solving |
